Our philosophy

We built a room for slowing down

Stillwater began with a simple wish: a place in the city where you could exhale. Not a gym, not a performance — a quiet wooden room with good light, soft props and teachers who notice you.

We believe yoga is for every body, on every kind of day. Some mornings you'll move with breath; some evenings you'll just lie on a bolster and let the week leave your shoulders. Both count. Both are welcome here.

Classes stay small on purpose, so there is always room to ask a question, adjust a pose, or simply be seen.

Everything a first-timer usually wonders

Before your first class

I've never done yoga before — is that okay?
More than okay — it's our favourite kind of student. Choose a Beginners, Gentle or First-Timers' class and arrive ten minutes early; your teacher will introduce themselves and quietly check in. There is no level you need to reach to belong here.
What should I bring and wear?
Just comfortable clothes you can move in and a water bottle. We provide mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets — though many people like to bring their own mat once they're settled in. Bare feet on the mat, please.
How do I book?
Reserve through our booking link or simply email us — classes are small, so booking ahead guarantees your spot. Drop-ins are welcome too, space permitting. Your very first class is €5.
What if I'm not flexible / fit / young enough?
Flexibility is something yoga gives you, not something you need to arrive with. We teach a wide range of bodies and ages, and every pose has gentler options. Come as you are.
Can I come if I'm pregnant or have an injury?
Often, yes — just let us know in advance so the teacher can offer modifications, or point you to a class that suits. If you're unsure, email us and we'll talk it through honestly.
